    Description

    We're looking for a Class 1 Day Driver!

    Join Cullompton Pallet Networks and become part of our team.

    The position of Class 1 Day Driver involves:

    • Making multi-drop palletized deliveries and collections to businesses and private addresses in the South West.
    • Loading/unloading vehicles while ensuring load security.
    • Planning daily routes.
    • Completing daily vehicle checks using your company phone.
    • Working closely with network hubs.
    • Keeping in regular contact with the transport team to update on progress and manage customer expectations.
    • Attending regular training sessions.

    Essential skills for a Class 1 Day Driver:

    • Must have a UK Class 1 (CE) Driving Licence.
    • Hold a current DCPC Card and Digital Tachograph Driver Card.
    • Experience in delivering loads directly to client sites is advantageous.
    • Passionate about providing excellent customer service.
    • Ability to work to deadlines.
    • Confident, polite, and a team player.
    • Good geographical knowledge.
    • Must be fit, flexible, hardworking, and self-motivated.

    Join Gregory Distribution for a Class 1 Day Driver role with a salary ranging from £33,347pa to £38,209pa and potentially more based on hours worked.

    Work hours are Monday to Friday, 48 hours per week, starting at 07:30 hrs, with an enhanced rate for weekend shifts.
