    Description

    Class 2 Day Driver at Gregory Distribution

    The job:

    • Making multi drop palletised deliveries and collections to businesses and private addresses.
    • Loading/unloading of vehicle, ensuring load security.
    • Planning route daily.
    • Completing daily vehicle checks on the company phone.
    • Working closely with the network hubs.
    • Keeping in contact with the transport team for updates and managing customer expectations.
    • Attending regular training sessions.

    Requirements:

    • Must have a UK Class 2 (C) Driving Licence.
    • Hold a current DCPC Card and Digital Tachograph Driver Card.
    • Experience in delivering loads directly to client sites is advantageous.
    • Passionate about providing excellent customer service.
    • Working efficiently to meet deadlines.
    • Confident, polite, and a team player.
    • Good geographical knowledge.
    • Must be fit, flexible, hardworking and self-motivated.
