- Working on various projects focused on producing or enhancing medium to large components or systems for medical devices related to airways.
- Conducting testing and troubleshooting for assigned research projects.
- Resolving technical issues linked to production, guaranteeing adherence to technical requirements.
- Ensuring continuous compliance with all regulations and standards.
- Independently planning, scheduling, and managing assigned production projects.
- Offering coaching and guidance to junior engineers, supporting their professional growth.
- Documenting all engineering activities during production.
- Facilitating communication across departments to ensure a seamless process.
- A degree in a relevant Scientific field – this is a mandatory qualification
- Extensive experience in R&D within a Medical Device manufacturing environment – a critical requirement given the role's nature
- A strong passion for innovative engineering
- Excellent problem-solving skills
- The ability to effectively manage priorities and meet deadlines under pressure
- A creative mindset for clear idea communication
- Experience in injection moulding would be highly advantageous
