    UK Sustainability Lead Role Overview

    As part of our sustainability strategy, we are excited to introduce a new position - UK Sustainability Lead. This role involves being a role model for Innovative Sustainability and Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) within our organization.

    Your responsibilities will include:
    • Leading the development of the UK Carbon Reduction strategy plan to achieve our net zero carbon emission goal by 2040.
    • Providing business direction to establish a roadmap for meeting sustainability targets and key metrics.
    • Forming sustainability focus groups to drive initiative ownership and execution.
    • Raising internal awareness of sustainability initiatives to nurture a sustainable culture.
    • Managing the carbon emission database and preparing sustainability performance reports.
    • Researching industry trends and advancing in climate-related areas.
    • Supporting department leaders in identifying future technology trends and implementing necessary training.
    • Assisting the tender team with environment and sustainability responses for bids.

    Corporate Social Responsibility Responsibilities
    • Collaborating with the Corporate Social Responsibility committee to develop the Social Value strategy.
    • Defining CSR goals and initiatives aligned with our key pillars (Community, Workplace, Environment).
    • Managing the Social Value Calendar and budget to ensure impactful events.
    • Engaging with external partners and charities to enhance our social programs.
    • Driving integration and innovation in program communication and engagement plans.
    • Building relationships with charity partners for donations and engagement.
    • Overseeing and managing actions from committee meetings.

    Desired Candidate Profile
    • Experience in delivering Sustainability programs.
    • Interest in Social Value and Corporate Social Responsibility.
    • Understanding of environmental principles.
    • Ability to challenge existing practices and communicate effectively at all levels.
    • Proficiency in interpreting and communicating data and trends.
    • Capability to adapt in fast-paced environments.
    • Strong project management skills with attention to detail.
    • Experience in reporting business performance.
    • Valid driver's license and willingness to travel.
