    Belmont House School Nursery is seeking a dedicated and passionate Qualified Early Years Practitioner (Maternity Cover) to join our team

    Package Description This position is:
    • Tenable from Thursday 15th August 2024 to Friday 4th April 2025
    • Term-time only
    • Hours:
    August - December 2024 Monday to Friday each day
    January - April 2025Monday to Friday each day
    • Salary - dependent on experience
    The Ideal Candidate What we're looking for in the ideal candidate:
    • HNC Childhood Practice Qualification or above.
    • Eligible for registration with SSSC.
    • Previous experience working within an Early Years setting.
    • Strong knowledge and understanding of Safeguarding, Child Protection, and the wider legislative requirements for working with children.
    • Ability to build trust and strong working relationships with both colleagues and parents.
    • Ensure the learning environment provides consistent stimulation and engaging activities for the children, across both the indoor and outdoor areas.
    • Deliver and plan rich learning opportunities and exceptional care, to help all children to develop and meet their individual milestones.
    • Develop and maintain strong partnerships with colleagues, parents and/or carers, as well as other professionals, to meet the individual needs of each child.
    • Promote and ensure child welfare, protection, health and safety and safeguarding.
    • Work with colleagues to maintain a positive, happy, and safe environment.
