    Job Summary

    The Education, Training & Employability (ETE) Officer will support the delivery of ETE programmes for young people aged 16-25 years old. You will be responsible for supporting the recruitment of young people for programmes, liaising with key stakeholders, andsupporting the progression of participants into further education, training, or employment.

    Job Description

    • Provide employability coaching (including developing soft skills in teamwork, leadership, enterprise and problem-solving) to support participants in their progression into further education, training, or employment;
    • Support recruitment of young people for programmes and our other employment delivery initiatives including events, short courses and trips;
    • Act on referrals through the Foundation referral process to identify suitable participants for ETE initiatives;
    • Identify and secure employability opportunities for participants through networking with external organisations and partners;
    • Maintain good working relationships with Crystal Palace Football Club and Academy, parents/carers/employers/referrers, and other stakeholders;
    • Collaborate with staff using verbal and written reports to ensure accurate and timely progress reviews and communication updates are shared with the multi-disciplinary team, parents, and carers;
    • Work closely with the ETE team to ensure that employability provisions align with young people's needs, demographics, contractual requirements, and budgets;
    • Record, analyse, and disseminate key project information as appropriate.

    Person Specification

    • Experience of working with young people who are or are at risk of being 'NEET' (not in education, training or employment) or 'hard to reach';
    • Experience of delivering skill development workshops and sessions to young people;
    • Knowledge of the barriers facing by young people today;
    • Facilitation skills and theability to manage classroom behaviour;
    • Previous experience of monitoring learner progress using standard database systems;
    • Experience of evaluating programmes, analysing qualitative and quantitative data;
    • Be able to collaborate with a diverse team with a can-do attitude;
    • Be approachable, with a high level ofemotional intelligence and interpersonal skills;
    • Be flexible, calm under pressure, and able to thrive in challenging circumstances;
    • Have excellentorganisational skills, with the ability to multitask and adapt in a fast-paced environment;
    • Knowledge of safeguarding reporting processes and procedures.
    • Knowledge of key employers or organisations who provide career support or opportunities;
    • Knowledge of lesson planning and curriculum development;
    • Experience of delivering on Study Programmes/Traineeships/Apprenticeships in a Community or Football Foundation environment.
