Secondary School Classroom Supervisor


MILK Education are currently working with a reputable Secondary School in the Poynton area who are seeking to appoint a long term and day to day classroom Classroom Supervisor.

The roles are to start as soon as possible and will be on-going throughout the full academic year, pushing onto the new academic year too


Bookings can be flexible to fit around your other commitments but you must have a minimum of three days availability in any given week in order to apply.

Key Responsibilities:_

  • Covering lessons for a class teacher who are absent due to sickness, training or meetings
  • Positive classroom management, building rapport and a good working relationship with students and staff alike
  • Being adaptable to students needs by providing 1 to 1 and small group assistance where required
  • Working with other staff members to meet the schools expectations of learning and development

In order to be considered for this role we require you meet the following criteria:_

  • Must have a good educational background including GCSE
  • Have previous experience working as a Cover Supervisor
  • Have eligibility to work in the UK or be a UK resident
  • Have at least 6 months school based experience of working in a UK Secondary school setting
  • Two suitable references covering the last 2 years
