- Day-to-day responsibility for export customers in allocated areas.
- Preparing documentation for worldwide shipments.
- Filing and general shipping administration.
- Meeting shipment deadlines and resolving customer enquiries (verbal & written) from a shipping perspective.
- Handling TPM and due diligence of customers.
- Working alongside the Export Sales team to provide exceptional shipping and administration support for customers in the EEMEA region.
- Handling and responding to all types of shipping and administration issues, including shipping documentation, hazardous paperwork, and general enquiries.
- Rigorously adhering to customs and export compliance regulations.
- Promoting a positive corporate reputation and maintaining composure in challenging situations.
- Navigating through organizational boundaries and being flexible with working hours to meet business needs.
- Performing duties in accordance with the Dignity at Work Policy, Code of Business Conduct and Ethics, and our values of Integrity, Intensity, Innovation, and Involvement.
- Participating in PPI initiatives to identify improvements and cost savings to the business.
- Ability to pass a DBS check and provide a 5-year checkable working history with no employment gaps.
- History of export shipping skills within an export environment.
- Strong self-motivation with clear communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Experience in organizing and prioritizing workloads.
- Freight movement or Customs experience is beneficial.
- Solid understanding of IATA/IMDG regulations and appropriate qualifications.
- Experienced in working in a pressured environment.
- Minimum of 2 A-levels or equivalent (in a Science subject and English - desirable but not crucial).
- Intermediate level experience in Microsoft Word/Excel.
