Head Chef Ideal Profile:

• A strong background within a gastro pub setting, with a focus on utilizing local ingredients
• Strong leadership abilities are crucial, including the ability to inspire and lead a kitchen brigade
• A proven track record of overseeing kitchen operations, managing staff, driving positive GPs, and achieving culinary excellence
• Able to create innovative and delicious dishes that showcase the best of British cuisine using locally sourced ingredients.
• Creative and innovative, capable of developing menus that reflect classic British flavours while incorporating modern twists
• Attention to detail is paramount, particularly in maintaining high standards of food quality, presentation, and consistency

Head Chef Responsibilities:

• Develop creative menus that highlight classic British flavours using locally sourced ingredients
• Regularly update menus to reflect seasonal changes and maximize the use of local produce
• Oversee all aspects of kitchen operations, including managing GPs, plus food preparation, cooking, and plating
• Lead and motivate the kitchen brigade, providing guidance, training, and support as needed
• Ensure a high level of customer satisfaction by consistently delivering delicious, well-executed dishes that exceed guests' expectations
• Build and maintain relationships with local suppliers to ensure a consistent supply of high-quality, locally sourced ingredients
• Maintain a clean and safe working environment in the kitchen and adhere to all relevant safety protocols
