- Manage the Group accounting function and internal controls efficiently
- Prepare management and statutory accounts
- Assist the CEO and Commercial/Operational teams with performance analysis and business plan management
- Ensure strong controls and assurance over balance sheet reporting and cash management
- Produce monthly and annual reports for forecasting and variance analysis
- Drive enhancements in processes, system utilization, and financial controls company-wide
- Collaborate with the CEO on budget and financial plan development and consolidation
- Regularly review financial plans for cost-saving opportunities
- Lead the finance team - providing mentorship, coaching, and management support, including performance evaluations and target setting for direct reports, as well as overseeing their subordinates
- Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA) with significant post-qualification experience
- Experience in a private equity supported environment
- Prior experience as a Financial Controller
- Effective workload management and adherence to strict deadlines
- Excellent communication skills and adept in leading a small team
- Ability to drive organizational change in financial operations
- Proficient in IT, particularly in Excel
