- Full ownership of the Profit and Loss, Balance sheet, and Cashflow for the Lighting & Grid business.
- Partner with the Head of Lighting and Grid, the Regional, and Site Managers to improve business performance.
- Provide effective financial partnership to support and challenge the formulation and execution of commercial decision-making for contract tendering, pricing, and other third-party agreements.
- Provide financial support, including business case modelling, budget tracking, and funding support.
- Robust identification of opportunities and risks to the Lighting and Grid business.
- Ensure correct accounting of gross margin and controllable costs, preparing accruals and prepayments as necessary, and reconciling the balance sheet, providing insights on results for improvement.
- Ensure the effective operation of appropriate governance and controls.
- Provide input to the planning process on the financial impacts of any planned initiatives.
- Drive continuous improvement in all processes, whether existing or new.
- Relevant Accountancy Qualification (CIMA, ACCA, ACA) - with post qualification experience.
- Ability to build excellent working relationships at all levels, with strong orientation to supporting customers and stakeholders.
- Strong numerical and commercial skills with the ability to interpret data and information and present it in a clear and logical format.
- The ability to consistently support decision makers and produce high quality work to tight deadlines.
- Ability to work autonomously, initiate and deliver change.
