- Act as the primary liaison between the factory and suppliers regarding quality discrepancies.
- Engage all necessary functions within Husqvarna to address supplier-related quality issues.
- Foster internal customer relationships and collaborate with SQA Commodity Engineers to enhance supplier development.
- Provide suppliers with feedback on quality discrepancies identified within factory processes (e.g., Goods-in, assembly lines, lab).
- Issue IQNs (Initial Quality Notifications) to suppliers.
- Initiate 8D investigations with SQA Commodity Engineers and oversee resolution.
- Validate supplier root cause analyses and implement permanent corrective actions in coordination with SQA Commodity Engineers.
- Report on the progress of 8D investigations.
- Regularly collect data and report KPIs.
- Review and approve deviation requests.
- Support and cooperate with the Global SQA team.
- Conduct supplier visits, as needed, in collaboration with SQA.
- Participate in the New Product Introduction process by assisting with Engineering and Manufacturing pilot builds.
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or equivalent work experience.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in a Supplier Quality Engineering role.
- Proficiency in reading and interpreting both electrical and mechanical engineering drawings.
- Experience working with EMS suppliers preferred.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
