Edward Reed is actively recruiting for a Marketing Manager for our North East based client Cenergist. The role is based in Washington and offers a hybrid working model.

Cenergist's patented Control Flow containing HL2024 technology underpins their energy and water offerings. Accurate flowcontrol is essential for efficient water supply and heating systems.

Water systems suffer from pressure fluctuations and this patented technology controls the flow rate within the heating and water systems and ensures an optimal flow rate which is pressureindependent.

This means that their technology will always allow the same, optimal quantity of water to flow through, regardless of fluctuations in the input pressure.

Cenergist have just launched an offering direct to consumer for Control Flow containing HL2024devicesvia a dedicated website.


About Control Flow


The Control Flow range of products regulate the incoming flow of water, reducing water wastage by taking out the flow fluctuations caused by pressure changes in the system.

The products have been installed in thousands of homes as part of water saving projectsin conjunction with water companies and local authorities and in January the products were offered direct to the public, as a fully installed proposition, via dedicated website.

Marketing has been mainly through social media but there is a plan to move toa wider more integrated campaign that will include, press, outdoor and possibly TV and radio.


Responsibilities


We are looking for a Marketing Manager to develop and implement a marketing plan for the Control Flow group of products.

Reporting to the Head of Consumer Marketing the role will involve:


  • Planning and implementing a multichannel marketing Communications plan
  • Managing the planning and implementation of marketing activities, through a variety of agencies
  • Tracking and reporting on marketing activities, measuring return on investment, and adapting the marketing plan to maximise the return on investment.
  • Management of the website through the CMS including SEO and Analytics
  • Liaising with operations to manage campaigns in line with operational availability

Compliance

  • To ensure understanding of the Cenergist quality and environmental management systems and to work according to their requirements.
  • To be aware of the environmental aspects and impacts relevant to the work of the job holder as well as ensuring compliance with any environmental legislation that is applicable to the job.
  • Ensure all Cenergist activities are GDPR compliant.
  • Also do any adhoc duties within the business when necessary

Qualifications, Skills and Experience

  • 3+ years' experience in a marketing role with experience of both digital and offline marketing
  • A solid understanding of the use of a range of social media platforms, particularly in relation to advertising
  • Experience in managing integrated marketing campaigns (Both on and offline media)
  • Strong copywriting and editing skills
  • Knowledge and understanding of using a Wordpress CMS and search engine optimisation
  • Experience of working with and managing agencies
  • Organisational skills, with the capacity to prioritise work across multiple agencies
  • Experience in data analysis and using the information to improve campaigns.
  • Highly organised with a keen attention to detail
