    Description
    Agricultural Farm Engineer


    Salary & Benefits Package:
    Paying up to £42,000 per year depending on experience.

    Plus overtime.

    Company pension scheme.

    This is a permanent full-time position.


    Working with the team as the Farm Agricultural Engineer you will report directly to the Workshop Manager and will primarily be responsible for servicing and completing maintenance of all farm machinery efficiently and to a high specification.


    You will be working closely with the workshop team to provide an excellent service to the farming processes and support the team.

    Agricultural Vehicle and Plant Servicing.
    Routine Maintenance - ensure all machines and vehicles are in good working condition.
    Replacing parts and assist in building new machines, within the workshop environment.
    Fault Diagnosis - diagnose faults on machines using hydraulic or pneumatic systems and low voltage electronics.
    Field Based Repairs - Carry out field-based maintenance and repairs as and when required.

    Ensure that any work carried out under the instruction and guidance of the Workshop Manager is done so efficiently and to a good standard.

    Support Workshop colleagues with projects and developments on the workshop environment and in the field.
    Company training is provided.
    Experience and knowledge of agricultural machine maintenance.
    Relevant mechanical engineering qualifications (Level 3).
    Electronics and Welding (TIG/MIG) Skills.
    Computer Literate.
    Flexible working principles (Working hours, Environment and Conditions)
    Agricultural Engineer, Workshop Engineer, Farm Engineer, Farm Machinery Maintenance, Farm Technician, Agricultural Technician, Workshop Technician.
