WHAT TO EXPECT
We have an amazing opportunity to join our Business Systems Delivery team as a Manufacturing Systems Trainer.


To enable JLR to meet our ambitious digitalisation plans, a Business Systems Delivery team has been established as part of the development of a class leading, high performing and best practice Transformation Organisation.

The Team is accountable for managing the change and deploying manufacturing programme content across JLR's global footprint.


Your role is the crucial bridge between technical delivery and companywide adoption, acting as the mechanism to maximise the value and benefit of the Manufacturing Digitalisation & Innovation programmes within the business.

You'll combine change management, business readiness, training and testing expertise to deliver a high-quality end user deployment experience.

The team is spread across multiple sites and travel between engineering and operational plants is expected. From time to time, the role will require international travel to all JLR locations.


WHAT YOU'LL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR

The Manufacturing Systems Trainer's overarching objective is ensuring robust delivery of incremental deployment releases to business end users, getting the organisation engaged and ready for the change, and ensuring that the change is adopted and sustained.

In order to achieve this, you'll will be able to monitor and manage the impact of change


Key activities include:

  • Process assessment and stakeholder identification in the form of a Training Needs Analysis (TNA).
  • Design, Create and Deliver rolebased user training.
  • Developing training content including classroom courses, online learning courses, assessments, videos, simulations, and quick reference guides.
  • Evaluating the users' level of knowledge at appropriated levels.
  • Identify and onboard Early Adopters and Super Users.
  • Conducting training impact assessments.
  • Creating stakeholder training and engagement plans and supporting the communication of these to relevant end users.
  • Managing user access.

WHAT YOU'LL NEED

  • Strong presentation and communication skills.
  • Experience of collaboration and cross functional team working.
  • Setting high standards for written materials and create standard training delivery plans.
  • Good experience with the Microsoft Office suite (e.g. PowerPoint, Word, Excel, SharePoint, etc).
  • Experience in liaising between the business, technology teams and support teams.
Personal Profile

Essential:

  • Experience in learning data analysis, metrics, and reporting
  • Excellent behaviours to allow interaction at all organisation levels from shop floor to Director.
  • Structured, organised and disciplined in approach to planning.
  • Ability to deliver with urgency, ambiguity.
