    Interior Health is looking for a dependable and adaptable Registered Nurse or Registered Psychiatric Nurse to join the team at F.W. Green Home in picturesque Cranbrook, BC.

    About the Job


    The Registered Nurse:

    • Delivers nursing care to Long-term Care patients independently and collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team
    • Improves the quality of life for patients and families through consultations and collaboration with other healthcare professionals
    • Focuses on continuous improvement and evidence-based practice in nursing
    • Enhances personal clinical skills and knowledge
    • Engages in hospital committees/teams and research projects
    This is a Casual Opportunity. Casual roles offer flexible hours that are not guaranteed, allowing for variety in shifts with short notice. Casual employees can apply for permanent and temporary positions internally, paving the way for future career growth within Interior Health.

    Work shifts will be during the day, from 07:00 to 17:09.

    • Starting April 1, 2024, the hourly wage will range from $41.42 to $55.91.
    About this location/unit

    The Dr. F.W. Green Home features a 60-bed long-term care facility.

    The patient-centered approach focuses on resident choices, promoting independence and improving overall quality of life.

    Services include 24-hour nursing care, medication management, meals, and laundry. Each room includes private washrooms, kitchen, and dining areas. Various on-site programs such as outings, community activities, and music engagement are provided to residents.

    The site offers amenities like TV lounges, recreation areas, laundry facilities, and more, ensuring a comfortable living environment.
