- An exciting opportunity has emerged for a Senior Commissioning Manager to join a leading Tier 1 Contractor involved in critical water sector infrastructure enhancements in the South of England.
- The Senior Commissioning Manager is pivotal in supervising installation and commissioning activities for the Southern Water AMP7 Framework's implementation phase.
- Ensuring that solutions adhere to the Design-to-Commission approach is crucial, promoting effective collaboration with the Client, design and delivery teams, the supply chain, and all delivery functions.
- Focus on achieving cost-efficient and effective installation/commissioning processes, along with timely documentation production for individual projects and the overall program of work.
- Ensure safe execution of installation/commissioning projects while following regulations and procedures.
- Implement a Design-to-Commission approach in collaboration with the Design Commissioning Manager, integrating works seamlessly into existing operations.
- Coordinate competent resources for projects/programs and implement training initiatives to enhance team competence.
- Support Operations Manager(s) in achieving successful project completion and maintain quality records for efficient project closure.
- Liaise with stakeholders to enhance processes and provide post-completion assistance as needed.
- Demonstrated experience in managing multi-discipline teams in a customer-focused environment.
- Proven knowledge of commissioning complex projects within the water industry.
- Financial and commercial awareness with strong communication skills.
- In-depth knowledge of sewage and water treatment processes, systems, and equipment.
- Ability to provide Line Management support with recognized qualifications focusing on quality.
- Proficiency in implementing safety systems and possessing required industry cards.
