- Hands-on support to the maintenance technician to help with machinery and equipment breakdowns.
- Ensuring Willet area is clean and tidy.
- Filter cloth changing and also weekly washing.
- Participate in all aspects of preventative and corrective maintenance on buildings structure and fittings on site.
- Complete all necessary PPMs and reactive maintenance scheduled within agreed timescales and to ensure all necessary paperwork is completed.
- Maintain safe working practices when operating hand, power and workshop tools.
- Reviewing daily work sheets and prioritising tasks accordingly and complete as directed.
- Painting site.
- Cleaning site vans.
- Cleaning the Poly room.
- Cleaning and emptying office / toilet bins etc at the site.
- Covering Waste Recycling Operators when they are on holiday / sickness.
- Covering Class 2 Tanker when the Tanker driver is on holiday/sickness.
- Complying with the company Health and Safety Policy at all times.
- Educated to GCSE/standard grade level as a minimum.
- Full/ clean UK driving licence.
- Previous experience in building maintenance is required
- Trade qualifications would be advantageous
- Ability to maintain and repair a range of equipment
- Speed and efficiency of work
- Good computer skills
