Askham Bryan College is a specialist land-based college based across the North of England with centres in York, Middlesbrough, Saltaire, Wakefield and Newcastle.

We offer a wide-ranging curriculum to our Further Education students, including Agriculture, Horticulture, Agriculture, Animal Management, Countryside and the Environment, Engineering, Equine, Floristry, Motorsport, Professional Tree Surgery, Outdoor Adventure Sport, Sports Development, Coaching and Fitness and Uniformed Public Services.

We have an exciting opportunity for an Animal Keeper with a keen interest in animal welfare to join our Animal Management Team here at our Saltaire campus.

This role will be working on a zero hours contract specially covering staff sickness and holidays when required. Working hours may include weekends as well as weekdays.

We are seeking an individual who will be responsible for the day to day care of the animals on the unit.

Sector experience and knowledge specifically in Animal Management/Care will be essential.
