Job description:
Defence Infrastructure Organisation Regional Delivery Accommodation (RDA) is recruiting for a Housing Estate Officer (HEO) at EO grade to join the team in Northwest England.
Additionally, this is also an exciting time to join the team as new multi-year contracts have recently been awarded to industry partners, this is an opportunity to help shape the future delivery of our services.
In RDA North, as a team we are responsible for the provision of housing to meet the needs of our military customers.
Please note we cover a large geographic area including Scotland, Northern Ireland and the North of England However, this role primarily covers North Wales (RAF Valley), Chester, Preston, Garstang and Weeton and has an office location based at Chester, so ability to travel to Ministry of Defence locations throughout this area is an essential requirement in this role.
This role has the responsibility for ensuring the delivery of high-quality housing, facilities maintenance, improvement, safety, and the upgrading of community areas such as playparks.
A percentage of this role is dedicated towards the assurance of our industry partners performance.Currently the area has responsibility for circa 800+ housing assets.

Person specification:
Responsibilities:
- Assure the Future Defence Infrastructure Services (FDIS) contract for Service Family Accommodation (SFA) delivery
- Engage in all aspects of the FDIS Projects as required
- Progress and instruct all SFA Billable Works using the IMS, CAFM and AIMCDE IT Systems
- Maintain a Financial Tracker
- Engaging with a range of partners including Industry Partners, other MOD personnel, and Customers
- Work collaboratively with partners to achieve positive outcomes and results
- Manage your area of responsibility to assist with the development of Billable Works Plans which helps improve the estate
- Assure Move In and Move Out activities
- Undertake Regional Assurance activities
- Undertake all business training
- Commitment to Safety First in all areas of business
- Customer engagement
Desirable Experience & Skills:
- Knowledge and experience of Service Families Accommodation
- Experience of working within a team and alone
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Excellent and demonstrable IT skills
Environmental Factors:
Some outside work required and inspection inside accommodation where works are ongoing. PPE provided where required.
