    Rubix UK is recruiting for an experienced Data Analyst to join our multi-disciplinary UKII BI Team. The team build, support and maintain data solutions for our Senior Leadership Team, business users and European Group Reporting Function.

    Role

    The role of the Data Analyst is to help inform decision-making and solve business problems by converting data into information which drives the performance of the business. This involves manipulating large datasets and developing insightful solutions to complex problems. The Data Analyst reports to the BI Manager and works collaboratively with 2 Senior Data Analysts to:

    · Draw actionable insights from large data sources and communicate these through reports and dashboards.

    · Engage with stakeholders to understand business and organisation needs and translate these into clear requirements for robust analysis, estimation to delivery and, with support to develop an appropriate reporting solution.

    · Be comfortable exploring data sets and explaining these in simple terms to non-technical audiences.

    · Apply tools and techniques for data analysis and visualisation.

    · Support the current reporting architecture to Azure and Databricks

    · Be familiar with IT best practises and full software development lifecycle.

    Essential skills:

    · A track record as a data analyst with experience of exploring and delivering data in appropriate formats for users.

    · Proficient in writing and reviewing SQL and skilled in analysis, Kimball data modelling and visualisation and experienced using tools like the Microsoft SQL Server suite of products e.g., SSMS, PowerBI.

    · Working knowledge of Microsoft Office with advanced Excel skills.

    · Strong stakeholder management skills

    · Excellent collaboration skills, able to work cross functionally with our IT colleagues and willingness to be a Team advocate.

    · Confident in your ability, authentic, agile, inclusive, and supportive of your colleagues

    · Personally contribute to ensuring a safe and ethical working environment for colleagues

    Desired skills:

    · Experience of working in the distribution industry with knowledge of relevant business processes e.g., stock management and distribution multi-channel selling and reporting

    · Exposure to big data technologies e.g., Cloud technology like Azure and Databricks
