You will be writing and designing content for products and services; working as part of a multi-discipline team.

This role will come with the responsible for supporting the ongoing maturity of content design across the organisation through expertise and providingadvice to multiple stakeholders.


Key duties and responsibilities:


  • Provide wellwritten content for products and services that meets user needs
  • Consult with project teams to determine content design requirements
  • Collaborate with other disciplines to map out design concepts
  • Measure the effectiveness of content to ensure that it is working well and make improvements where required
  • Champion content design best practices within the organisation and challenge where necessary
  • Share knowledge and skills with teammates in the spirit of collaboration and learning
  • Work within the agreed agile approach

Role/Requirements

Experience:


  • Collaboration with crossfunctional teams that include roles such as developers, designers, and researchers to create user centred services and products that meet user needs.
  • Working with prototyping tools
  • Effectively communicating design ideas using a variety of techniques, including user flows, user journeys and empathy maps
  • Stakeholder management and being able to champion content design best practices
  • Creating content design within established guidelines specific to the brand's style and tone of voice.
  • Reviewing analytical data to inform how well content is performing and react accordingly
  • Experience of A/B or multivariant testing
  • Experience of content critiques; providing and receiving feedback from colleagues on content designs that is respectful and constructive

Qualifications:


  • Qualification or training in a related discipline is desirable but not essential
This is a hybrid position in the North East of England
