    To undertake a wide variety of audit and accounting assignments to a high standard of technical competence, delivered with a good degree of autonomy, and within budget and client expectations.

    Complying with the firm's operating procedures on all assignments to deliver a consistent, high quality, client focussed output
    The ability to train, mentor and supervise more junior team members, supporting their growth as they progress through the firm
    A dedication to technical competence and your own continuing professional development.
    At a senior level, we would expect the role to comprise 80% audit and 20% accounts.
    Agreement of budget with manager as job commences, regular monitoring of progress against budget and feedback to supervisors.

    Managers can and will offer guidance, but would expect seniors to complete most problem solving autonomously, deferring to managers to agree the correct way forward.

    Qualified accountant (ACA, CA, ACCA).
    Technical Research and other training as required

    Proven experience planning, undertaking and completing a wide variety of accounting assignments under FRS 102 Section 1A of varying sizes and complexity.

    A degree of exposure to group/consolidated accounts essential.
    Proven experience planning, undertaking and finalising a variety of statutory audit assignments, compliant with ISAs
    Exposure to specialist audit assignments desirable, but not essential.
    Technically up to date with awareness of relevant regulatory frameworks.
    Unquestionable integrity, with excellent communication skills and a flexible, adaptable and committed attitude.
