About the Role:
As a Registered Veterinary Nurse, you'll play a vital role across all our sites. While having a vehicle is handy for commuting, it's not a must. The key requirement is that you are registered with the RCVS.
Our RVNs and SVNs are highly valued members of the clinical team, and their day to day job includes admissions, inpatient care, bloods and catheter placement, anaesthesia and consults. There is support for developing individual interests, and funding for CPD including to certificate level.
You'll be an essential part of our healthcare team, working closely with our veterinarians, fellow nurses, and reception staff to provide top-notch medical and surgical care for our furry patients. Your responsibilities will include everything from surgical assistance, reception support to client care, making a real difference in the lives of pets and their owners.
Skills We're Looking For:
Our standard week is 40 hours, Monday to Friday, with a 9-hour shift including a one-hour unpaid lunch break. We can be flexible with working days and hours, and this can be discussed during the interview. Saturdays are on a rota basis, typically from 8:30 am to 12:30 pm.
