Commercial Finance Manager


Based:
Burnley


Salary:
up to £70k + benefits + private healthcare + 2pm finish on a Friday

Our client are a leading manufacturing business based in Burnley.

The business are about to enter an exciting period of growth including the continued progression of their international expansion strategy.

Due to this growth, they have a newly created roleto support the business from a commercial perspective and allow them to contribute to the companies ambitious growth over the next few years.

This role would be working with the Head of Operations and various departments providing commercial insight, analysisand financial modelling and working with the FD on various exciting projects


Role:

  • Analysing and presenting financial information for senior management to fully understand business performance
  • Business partnering with department heads, supporting with financial analysis
  • Leading the monthly reporting and forecasting processes including variance analysis of performance versus budget and forecast
  • Using financial analysis to recommend improvements to senior management leading to cost reduction, revenue generation and increased efficiencies
  • Leading on the annual budget setting process, working alongside departmental leads to set annual financial targets
  • Produce and maintain long term financial model
  • Appraisal of business cases to support new investment or new customer contracts
  • Reviewing existing processes and looking at opportunities for improvement
  • Assisting with implementation of new ERP system and other growth projects alongside the CFO

Experience:


  • ACCA, CIMA or ACA qualified
  • Strong Excel skills including Excel modelling
  • Data driven approach with strong commercial acumen
  • Manufacturing experience would be desirable but not essential
  • Keen desire to learn and develop intuitive and detailed approach
