Main Responsibilities as a Retail Solutions and Implementation Planner
# Represent the needs of the retail outlets into the category teams and develop activation plans to be executed at outlet level in Retail.
# Increase brand presence in retail outlets for all categories and at all points of purchase (PPOS & POS) by working closely with the Channel Marketing Manager, the Account Team, Retail Sales Team, and Retail Operations Team to identify and convert key opportunities.
# Support key strategic Retail PPOS Projects in all activities.
# Work with the Retail team to understand key strategic priorities and PPOS opportunities to support the expansion of products in new outlets/retail sectors.
# Work with the Category teams to understand consumers, category and brand strategy, marketing communications plans and monthly objectives.
# Develop strategies, plan, tactics and cost business and marketing activities to be executed through the retail channel (at outlet level) and update and manage allocated budgets.
# Understand the UK Retail market, key trends, shopper behaviour, opportunities and constraints and input into strategy for the retail channel.
# Tailor brand advertising, PPOS, POS and communication materials where appropriate to maximise support from Retailers, where there is a proven ROI.
# Ensure relevant marketing materials and POS is produced and sent to the right outlets in line with agreed timescales.
# Measure the effectiveness of in-store initiatives.
# Input into budget process and ensure retail channel activities are delivered within agreed budgets.
