Are you currently working in Practice, and after recently qualifying, looking for that right move in to industry?

If so, this is an opportunity you don't want to miss out on

This business is a PE backed, highly acquisitive and rapidly expanding technology and marketing business, with key offices in both Leeds and London


Due to their recent expansion, they are now looking to hire a Financial Reporting Accountant to join their Leeds office, in a newly created role, reporting directly to the Group Financial Controller.


With multiple offices across the UK, the business have a key offices in Leeds City Centre, where this role will be based, however the business operate hybrid working, and mainly work 2 days in the office and 3 days from home.


The role would be ideally suited to someone on the upward trajectory of their career who is recently ACA/ACCA qualified in practice, and looking for their 1st or 2nd move into industry

The key duties will include:

  • Monthly group consolidation, local and overseas subsidiary accounts
  • Preparation of data for the monthly Board pack
  • Detailed monthly review of balance sheet
  • Annual preparation of statutory accounts in conjunction with the group auditors
  • Annual preparation of tax packs for group tax advisors
  • Preparation of group cashflows
  • Preparation of reporting to support group's treasury decisions
  • Preparation of group forecasts for corporation tax purposes
  • Ad hoc reporting requirements
  • Provide technical advice on upcoming changes in accounting standards


  • Be ACCA/ACA qualified

  • Have 13 years experience in a relevant financial accounting role

  • Have experience of project management and working with teams that may have a number of potentially conflicting workstreams
