We're seeking a future team member for the role of
Team Lead, Reconciliation to join our
Reconciliation team. This role is located in Manchester, the UK. The mode of work - hybrid.


In this role, you'll make an impact in the following ways:

  • Serve as team superviser/manager for the day-to-day operations of a medium to large-sized
  • Reconcilation support team, overseeing work direction and technical assistance on complex matters.
  • Manage the daily activities of a Reconciliation support team and aligns team resources accordingly to complete the daily tasks. Oversee review of data and issue escalations.
  • Serve as first line supervisor for assignment of tasks and resolution of issues.
  • Direct, motivate and develop staff, maximizing their individual contribution, their professional growth and their ability to function effectively with their colleagues as a team.
  • Ensure the volume of work produced meets product/service standards and exceeds quality standards, and is properly reviewed and documented.
  • Responsible for monitoring the resolution of complex break reports. Manage escalation of issues.
  • Provide oversight of daily, weekly and monthly reporting using an understanding of the stock record and knowledge of basic accounting.
  • Coordinate initial regulatory reports.
  • Be responsible for leading the testing of new technology solutions or enhancements, ensuring that reconciliation processes remain intact. Participate in the recruiting process.
  • Instruct, assign, direct and review the work of team.
  • Prepare performance reviews and provide ongoing feedback to staff.
  • Supervise/manage a medium to largesized team of Reconciliation Support staff.

Helps develop and contribute to the achievement of team objectives.


To be successful in this role, we're seeking the following:

  • High School/secondary school or the equivalent combination of education and experience is required. Bachelors degree preferred.
  • 7 plus years of total work experience preferred.
  • Experience in brokerage/banking operations preferred.
