    Become a key part of a fast growing development team within a thriving Sheffield agency.

    A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a Mid Level PHP Backend Developer with strong Laravel knowledge, and great problem-solving skills to join our talented in-house development team.

    We're looking for someone with at least two years of experience building & maintaining Laravel or similar PHP web applications, with a passion and attitude that fits well with our team.

    Reach Studios is looking for a talented Mid Level PHP Backend Developer that will get the opportunity to work on an array of exciting web projects; including websites, web applications and software integrations.

    Your main tasks will be to build highly proficient web applications with a focus on usability and performance. This includes new projects and maintaining existing applications, built on Laravel PHP.

    Our web development is built on PHP platforms and frameworks with web applications utilising the power of Laravel for back-end processes.

    Front-ends are built in / React / , rendered by Apache or NGINX servers.

    We also partner with multiple server / hosting providers such as ANS Group & KDAWS.Your role will kick off with mastering our stack and getting stuck in on a handful of great projects, shadowing other developers and getting up to speed.

    You'll help to develop, debug and improve products working alongside other developers and creatives. We have a code review, UAT protocol & GIT deployment process in place.

    You are more than a , we are building a team with talent, but the individual behind the code is who we want to meet.

    A graduate degree is not a necessity. We welcome applications from self-taught developers and graduates alike.

    We have embraced a flexible, hybrid working culture, so pick and choose where you work, with our only preference being that you're in the office often enough for us to get to know you.

    If you are coming into the office, we work from the iconic Hillsborough Barracks, so driving or public transport are taken care of, we have an ample offering of free parking too.
