Description
To keep the department tidy and clutter free at all times, promoting anenvironment that is safe and pleasing for patients and parents.
To inform the nurse in charge of any problems.To communicate effectively with other departments to organise and co-ordinate any necessary maintenance or repairs, documenting any reported issues and remedial action taken.
To be aware of stock levels for clinical and non-clinical items, ensuring that department supplies are appropriately stored and that stocks in clinical areas are at adequate levels.
To maintain confidentiality relating to all aspects of the Trusts business. To work within and adhere to all Trust policies and guidelines. To develop in the role, attending training, working towards competencies, etc. To monitor linen levels, ensuring ward is adequately stocked at all times.Monitor equipment ensuring it is clean and maintained.
