Salary:
Grade 3, £4,703 - £4,875 per annum. £ £11.18 per hour
10 hours per week, Working Monday to Friday ( One hour AM, One hour PM ), term time working 38 weeks per year plus 14 hours staff engagement
Your role:
You will see children safely across the road on their way to and from school and enable the safe passage of all pedestrians at designated places and times.
You will also provide emergency school crossing patrol cover at other crossing points within the Wigan Council area as required by the needs of the Service.

The focus of the Road Safety Team is to reduce and minimise the number of road traffic casualties across the borough through a targeted programme of education, training and publicity campaigns.
The school crossing service forms a key part of our Road Safety Strategy as the safety of our children is something we take very seriously, and we are committed to providing a first class service.
