Description

We are currently looking to appoint a brand-new team of Exam Invigilators at Cheadle Hulme High School.

Invigilators play a crucial role in the running and administration of exams; helping children to be successful in their exams by overlooking, assisting and ensuring the exam runs as smoothly as possible.

In addition, Exam Invigilators at the Laurus Trust have access to online training provided by UNISON

Please note following successful appointment, all Exam Invigilators supporting the Laurus Trust will be required to sign up to the Disclosure & Barring Service (DBS) Update Service. Should a new DBS be applied for by the Trust, you will need to upload this to the Update Service within 28 days of receiving the certificate. You will be expected to maintain your annual subscription to the DBS Update Service throughout the course of your employment._

Job Purpose (For further details on the role, please see the Job Description attached below)

To oversee and supervise examinations and to ensure that guidelines and regulations for the integrity and security of the examination papers and procedures are followed during examination sessions

Key Skills & Experience

Sound educational background including GCSE's in Maths and English (A*C) or equivalent.
Experience working in a school environment would be advantageous
Ideally possess prior experience within a similar role
