- Manage a varied caseload of residential conveyancing matters from inception to completion.
- Conduct legal research, draft legal documents, and provide legal advice to clients on conveyancing matters.
- Liaise with clients, estate agents, mortgage lenders, and other parties involved in property transactions to facilitate smooth and timely transactions.
- Handle complex conveyancing issues, including title defects, leasehold matters, and property disputes.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant laws, regulations, and procedures governing conveyancing transactions.
- Provide excellent client service, maintaining regular communication and keeping clients informed throughout the conveyancing process.
- Work closely with other members of the conveyancing team to share knowledge, best practices, and contribute to the overall success of the department.
- Keep abreast of developments in conveyancing law and practice, attending training sessions and professional development opportunities as necessary.
- Assist with business development initiatives, including networking events, client seminars, and marketing activities to promote the firm's conveyancing services.
- Uphold the highest standards of professionalism, ethics, and integrity in all interactions and transactions.
- Qualified Solicitor with 2-5 years of PQE in conveyancing law.
- Solid experience managing a caseload of residential and/or commercial conveyancing matters independently.
- Strong knowledge of conveyancing law, procedures, and best practices.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to explain complex legal concepts clearly and concisely to clients.
- Exceptional client service skills with a proactive and client-focused approach.
- Ability to work effectively under pressure, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines.
- Team player with a collaborative attitude and willingness to share knowledge and support colleagues.
- Proficiency in case management systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Membership in the Law Society of England and Wales is preferred.
- A genuine interest in property law and a commitment to ongoing professional development.
