About Weston Park Care Home

Weston Park Care Home is a purpose-built home set in its own grounds with landscaped gardens and situated in a quiet residential area set back from the road.

Macclesfield town centre is a short drive or bus ride away and the home is easily accessible from the Leek and Congleton roads.

The home provides a high standard of care in a comfortable environment. We cater for the needs of people requiring General Nursing care as well as for those living with Dementia.

We promote resident and family involvement and feel privileged to be able offer a service to people in their time of need.

We have recently re-opened our 30 bedded service following refurbishment and therefore we require Kitchen Assistants to join our existing team.

Responsibilities of a Kitchen Assistant:

Assist the team in providing the best tasting and nutritious meals to bring joy to the daily lives of the Residents.
Assist with meal preparation and service as required.
Carry out kitchen cleaning as specified in the kitchen schedule and specifically requested by the Chef/Cook,
Ensure that stores are kept clean and tidy.
Wash up dirty crockery, cutlery, trays, and other kitchen equipment as required.
Attend and complete all statutory training
Adhere to Health & Safety, Fire, Moving & Handling and Food Hygiene Regulations
Report all potential and actual kitchen hazards to the Chef/Home Manager and assist in managing risk.

It is not an exhaustive list as other duties may be required as necessary to meet the needs of the home.

Pay:
£11.50 per hour

Expected hours: 44 per week
