Our client is a truly global organisation who boast partnerships with many FTSE100/Fortune500 companies that helps them improve ethical and responsible business practices in their supply chain, operating in the high-profile Environmental/Social/Governance(ESG) space.

The finance team is going through a period of evolution and currently seeking a talented Commercial Finance Analyst to join the business, who's looking for a challenging broad-based role where they can help shape the FP&A/commercial finance functionfrom almost a 'green field' starting point.

The business has a very flexible working policy, with only 1/2 days expected in their beautiful Central London based offices.

**Role Overview:
- **1**:

Preparation of Annual budget, in year analysis and all reforecasts**:
Assisting with the preparation of the annual Group budget presentations and supporting financial model
Delivering in year reforecasts and analysis of cash, balance sheet and P&L variances
Forecasting of the Group overhead spend
Partner with the business to roll out the budget and drive commercial acumen into the business
Working in conjunction with the wider finance team to prepare monthly finance packs and month/quarterly reporting to Exec team and Board

2**:

Financial planning and analysis**:
Annual and ad hoc update of 5year strat plan to include cash flow, P&L and Balance sheet, KPI outputs and relevant equity/debt metrics
Running additional scenario and sensitivity analysis as required

3**:

Investment appraisal and assisting with yearend Audit activities*
Assisting with project appraisal cash flows and scenario analysis prior to presentation to investment committee e.g POD's
Monthly project reporting and variances vs. delivery model
Post investment review and analysis
Assisting wider Finance Team with the year end audit on the above

4**:

Effective Business Partnering
Improving commerciality in the organisation*
Educate the business departments on financial and nonfinancial indicators.
Prepare and own the education pack

5**:

DevelopmentofReportingcapabilities*
Working in conjunction with the wider Finance and IT teams to enhance reporting capabilities for rental, project and group reporting including selection of tools to aid decision making

Corporate finance and project support

Adhoc analysis and presentations support (e.g. periodic strategy and business update presentations to Board and potential investors, deep dive analysis)
Assisting with the preparation of due diligence and other related materials in connection with any capital/equity events
Historical business performance analysis

**Required Skills:

Experience:

Fully UK qualified accountant or similar (e.g CFA)
SAAS / Tech (or related) industry experience preferred

Personality, skills and fit:

Proactive
Strong Excel and PowerPoint skills
Excel financial modelling skills a must
Able to work with large volumes of data
Cando attitude and comfortable working in a smal lteam
Excellent communication skills
Knowledge of Salesforce and Financial Force are strongly preferred but not essential
