    Job Description Quality Manager - consumer-branded engineering tech

    A fantastic opportunity for a Quality Manager to join the world's leading electric golf trolley brand. Established in 1983, PowaKaddy is a pioneer and market leading manufacturer of electric golf trolleys.

    Headquartered in Kent, England, it is here that all the early concepts, design, development and product assembly are carried out.

    Setting the standard for electric golf trolley innovation, PowaKaddy's latest collection continues to deliver the very best in compact design and industry leading intelligence to meet the demands of golfers of all ages and abilities.

    As part of the company's strategic plan, a new exceptional Quality Manager is sought to be the quality focal point of the business and drive quality through the heart of everything we do.


    Full time position, 37.Contributory pension scheme

    Lead and drive improvements in all aspects of quality assurance through the organisation & supply base.
    Improve product quality management and inspection standards in house and in the supply base.
    Monitor and report monthly on production and in service quality issues both internally and to suppliers.
    Champion root cause analysis of quality issues and drive the corrective and preventative action process with suppliers.
    Communicate and manage quality issues working closely with internal and external colleagues and customers.
    Manage Quarantine and stop/start of production due to quality issues.
    Good commercial skills and the ability to navigate through customer and supplier cost control issues
    Passionate and tenacious on improving quality for the benefit of the business and customers
    Minimum of 5 years' experience in a quality engineering management role.
    Driven quality improvement through organisations and suppliers.
    Experience of electromechanical assembly, mechanical, electrical and software systems, and manual assembly processes.
    Proficient in quality analysis tools such as 8D, 5 Why, lean manufacturing etc.
    Experienced in developing supplier quality measures.
    Strong communicator organised with good time management.
    Computer literate – knowledge and experience of Microsoft packages.

    Led successful implementation of quality standard i.e. Previous experience in low volume, high value consumer electronics, mechanical and electromechanically products
