REED Business Support are working with an award winning global manufacturer who are looking for a Travel and Events Coordinator to plan company travel, accommodation, trade shows and more.


Are you highly organised with a passion for events management? Pricecheck is looking for an ambitious and motivated individual to join our trading team as a Travel and Events Coordinator.


As an International Wholesaler we have numerous events and trade shows throughout the year, and with a growing team, and new customers around the world opening, the amount of travel across the UK and Internationally is increasing.

The successful applicant forthis position will confidently take responsibility for the planning of company travel, accommodation, trade shows, Pricecheck events and any other additional projects to support the wider team.


Benefits:


- Salary: £26,000 + quarterly bonus up to 9%

- Hours: Monday to Friday 8am-5pm

Responsibilities:


  • Endtoend organisation of UK and International Trade Shows from communicating with the show organisers, coordinating with all the departments in the business, stand set up and travel to and from the show.
  • Working with the marketing team to design the stand graphics, leaflets, business cards etc.
  • Working with the sales & buying teams to keep them updated on all other trade shows and organising further exhibitor research.
  • Booking Pricecheck events such as our Christmas and Summer Parties. This includes liaising with the Directors to gauge their initial ideas, researching and negotiating costs, and booking and setting up the venue.
  • Booking any international sales trips and creating a travel pack with any useful information for the salesperson whilst keeping in touch throughout.
  • Anticipating demand, being confident in working proactively and confidently on your own initiative.
  • Researching and understanding different flight and hotel options, offering the best options to suit the traveller's needs.
  • Organising Car Hire and Airport Parking.
  • Working within the sales function to help the wider team by using reports and analysis.

Requirements:


  • A confident communicator, written and verbally
  • A responsible and meticulous approach to tasks
  • Proficient in Microsoft packages including Excel
  • 1+ years' experience in events or an awareness of planning trade shows
  • Demonstrates a strategic and analytical mindset whilst conducting research
  • Ability to work in a team as well as act on your own initiative
  • Highly organised with the ability to multitask
  • Strong, articulate communicator
