    Description

    Position Overview: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced F5 Consultant to join our team of IT professionals. The F5 Consultant will be responsible for providing expert guidance, support, and implementation services related to F5 networking and security solutions. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of F5 technologies and a proven track record of successfully delivering F5-based solutions to clients.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Collaborate with clients to understand their networking and security requirements and develop F5-based solutions to address their needs.
    • Design, architect, and implement F5 solutions including load balancers, application delivery controllers (ADCs), and security appliances.
    • Perform configuration, optimization, and troubleshooting of F5 products to ensure optimal performance and reliability.
    • Provide technical guidance and support to clients during all phases of the project lifecycle, including planning, implementation, and post-deployment support.
    • Conduct assessments and audits of existing F5 deployments to identify areas for improvement and optimization.
    • Develop and maintain documentation, including design documents, configuration guides, and best practices.
    • Stay up-to-date with the latest trends, technologies, and best practices in F5 networking and security.

    Qualifications:

    • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
    • F5 certification(s) such as F5 Certified BIG-IP Administrator (F5-CA), F5 Certified Technology Specialist (F5-CTS), or equivalent.
    • Minimum of [X] years of experience designing, implementing, and supporting F5 solutions in enterprise environments.
    • Proficiency in configuring and managing F5 products such as BIG-IP LTM, BIG-IP GTM, BIG-IP ASM, and BIG-IP APM.
    • Strong understanding of networking protocols and technologies including TCP/IP, SSL/TLS, DNS, and routing protocols.
    • Experience with scripting languages such as Tcl, Python, or JavaScript for automation and customization of F5 solutions.
    • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot complex networking and security issues.
    • Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to effectively communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.

    Preferred Qualifications:

    • Experience with cloud-based networking and security solutions, particularly integration with F5 products.
    • Knowledge of DevOps practices and tools for automation and orchestration of F5 configurations.
    • Experience with other networking and security technologies such as firewalls, VPNs, and intrusion detection/prevention systems (IDPS).
    • Familiarity with software-defined networking (SDN) concepts and technologies.
    • Previous consulting experience with a focus on delivering F5 solutions to clients
