Description
Leading rem package of up to $534k plus on-call and other allowances.The Department provides Internal medicine services for the hospital, broader service and other health hubs in the region.
It has an allocation of 32 medical beds, 8 "48 hour" beds, 5 coronary care beds, 9 palliative care beds (including chemotherapy) and outpatient clinics each week.
These include renal transplant (except acute transplant), acute and chronic kidney diseases, Dialysis, Satellite dialysis units, Tele-health and in-patient and outpatient renal services.
Manage haemodialysis patients in regional hubs and homes via telehealth and site visits when required.
Inpatient:
supervise inpatients admitted under Renal Services, performing procedures including renal biopsy as required and provision of clinical input to consultations from the various disciplines in the hospitals and hubs.
