An exciting opportunity has arisen to join the team in the Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery Department as a Specialty Doctor.
This is a Basic 10 session contract with no on call commitmentAs one of our Specialty Doctors you will be based at Morriston Hospital Swansea, with sessions at other sites within our LHB.
Your duties will include mainly outpatient clinic sessions as well as the delivery of minor surgical procedures under local anaesthetic and local anaesthetic/IV sedation.
You may well be required to undertake General Anaesthetic day case surgery as the need arises. The bulk of the operative surgery will be oral surgery, particularly dento-alveolar surgeryAs one of our Specialty Doctors you will be based at Morriston Hospital Swansea, with sessions at other sites within our LHB.

The HB has three major hospitals providing a range of services:
Morriston and Singleton hospitals in Swansea and Neath Port Talbot hospital in Baglan, Port Talbot.
The Health Board is part of A Regional Collaboration for Health (ARCH), which is a partnership with Hywel Dda UHB and Swansea University.
Aimed at improving the wellbeing and wealth of South West Wales.Swansea has a range of shops, cosy cafes, great restaurants, art galleries as well as being able to offer good outdoor lifestyle with its beautiful coastline and beaches on the Gower Peninsula.
