    We are looking for a Senior Data Engineer to join our growing Data Engineering team at Merkle.

    You will understand modern data platform architecture, have experience with software development best practices and have solved complex technical problems to deliver to clients' requirements.

    You will develop great data solutions for our clients

    You will work with local leadership and our global teams, bringing their key industry and product expertise, to shape and provide client solutions.

    You will support our Data Scientists and Analytical Consultants working on projects
    You will provide technical expertise and consultancy to clients to help them understand the power of big data analytics for their organisation
    Experience developing production quality software using optimised code, repeatable and reusable techniques (python preferred)
    Experience using modern DevOps practices such as version control, CI/CD, Automation, Infrastructure as Code, testing, Docker

    An understanding of modern data processing concepts and their implementation: data lake patterns, data structures, databases, SQL, no-SQL and partitioning.
