    Seasonal, full-time starting 5/28/2024 through 8/23/20234

    Hours: 30-40 hours/week


    Schedule:

    M-F, 8 hour shifts, between the hours of 8a - 5:30p This opportunity will give you the chance to develop valuable skills as you lead, support, engage, and motivate youth in our summer activity programs.

    Provide corrective direction to help participants learn appropriate actions and to make positive behavioral choices.
    Maintain, clean and ensure proper use of facilities and equipment.
    Supervise children ranging from ages 5-12 years old.
    Clean up after the children every shift.
    Play games and other activities with the children.
    Make sure the children are checked in and out by parents.
    Escort the children to the playground and ball fields.

    Must be at least 15 years old.

    Have a current Child First Aid and CPR/AED certifications from American Heart Association, American Red Cross, or American Safety & Health Institute, required before working with children.

    Robust ability to actively lead and engage youth.
    Strong verbal communication skills with both children and adults.

    Active listing skills and ability to relate to and provide fun, engaging, safe activities for youth of different backgrounds.
