    Primary Responsibility:

  • Analyze monthly financial results, including KPI's, and identify/explain trends and changes from Plan/Prior Year, preparing related summaries/ management reports for business leaders and other key stakeholders.
  • Assist in building Monthly Reporting packages and communicate results as needed.
  • Develop and automate models to transform data into meaningful, clear, concise management reporting.
  • Assist in developing Budget/Plan and Forecast using various models, industry data, and insights from business leaders.
  • Develop Key understanding of the Expense and Revenue drivers of the business to be used in various modeling.
  • Support business opportunities by collaborating with business leaders and their teams and creating proformas and other ad hoc analysis.
  • Ability to collaborate with key stakeholders and other cross-functional groups (Ops, Accounting, IT, Data & Analytics, etc.)
  • Contribute to a positive work environment by demonstrating cultural expectations (BRP Azimuth) and influencing others to reward performance.
  • Required Qualifications:

  • Education: Bachelor's Degree
  • Finance, Accounting, Economics, and/or other relevant degrees
  • Experience 2+ years of relevant work experience
  • Licenses: CPA or CFA preferred but not required. Insurance licenses such as CPCU, Affiliated, P&C licensing, etc. a plus.
  • Experience with Adaptive Insights a plus.
  • Skills:

  • Analyze information and use logic/rationale that connects various concepts.
  • Ability to build a story around your findings and relay results to leaders.
  • Utilize effective research and investigative techniques.
  • Quick Learner in picking up insurance concepts and implementing into analysis.
  • Basic understanding of GAAP (accruals, revenue recognition, etc.)
  • Good knowledge of Microsoft Office tools, especially Excel.
  • Insurance experience is preferable.
  • Work Environment

  • Travel Frequency – Up to 10%
  • Strong preference for candidate to reside in Tampa, FL with a hybrid office schedule of 2+ days a week
