One Year Fixed Term Contract / Secondment Opportunity
The Housing Management Service has recently been reviewed and as a forward thinking organisation, we are eager to adapt to the changes in the way our residents want to access our housing services.
As a Council with a strong track record of improvement, the return of our ALMO some twenty months ago provided us with the opportunity to set a new vision, purpose and pacefor Housing Management.
The review has enabled us to change how we deliverour Housing Management service and as a result, we are looking for a talented Housing Officer who will embrace new ways of working, delivering more of our services from estates, residents homes and local community halls.
As a Housing Officer you will deliver a flexible service, equipped with mobile technology to be visible and accessible to our tenants and leaseholders.
Working in one of our Housing Management Teams, you will be responsible for leading all matters to dowith the management of the estate including estate inspections, attending tenant and resident association meetings, investigating complaints and dealing with tenancy related issues including low level anti-social behaviour.
To be successful in this exciting role you will ideally have experience of Housing Management, have excellent written and verbal communication skills, be self-motivated and be computer literate.
