    Job Description:

    Currently, we are seeking Instrument Technicians to provide support for our North Sea operating assets.


    Key Accountabilities:

    • Ensure the maintenance of instrumentation/measurement, control, safety, and protection systems.
    • Demonstrate leadership in HSE within the maintenance team.
    • Comply with safety, environmental, and regulatory rules, as well as Control of Work requirements.
    • Identify tools, materials, and procedures before commencing work.
    • Support maintenance planning.
    • Safely isolate/de-isolate plant equipment and design isolations.
    • Conduct risk assessments within the Control of Work Procedure.
    • Perform walk-downs of equipment isolations before work begins.
    • Efficiently execute work and strive for continuous improvement.
    • Identify and address risks associated with assigned work.
    • Record relevant work order information to enhance reliability and continuous improvement.
    • Complete work in compliance with standards, including site cleanup and material return.
    • Communicate job progress to maximize productivity.
    • Deliver safe, quality, and reliable maintenance aligned with company values.

    Essential Education and Experience:

    • Technical education in relevant discipline
    • Instrument and control apprenticeship
    • Post-apprenticeship experience in gas, oil, or petrochemical processing
    • Experience in control systems, LV systems, field devices, and more
    • Knowledge of hazardous area certification, maintenance systems, and risk assessments
    • Ability to engage with vendors and fault-find effectively
    • Experience working in various plant locations
