    About Us:

    QDSL (Quintessential Design Services Limited) is an engineering and technology consultancy, supporting client projects in field of Engineering Innovations, Research & Development and IT.

    We offer engineering support in Automotive, Aerospace, Energy and IT.
    You will be deputed on client project with an OEM's PT CAE Propulsion Group for Electrification projects.

    This team is responsible for simulations in all areas within PT such as Traction Batteries, EDUs, E-Machines, Inverters, Transmissions, Drivelines, The CAE assessments from this team feeds into significant engineering & program decisions in the product development cycle.

    You will be responsible for CAE durability analysis at System / Sub-system / component level within the Propulsion System.

    You will also co-ordinate with physical testing team to corelate the simulation results and gather learning to optimise the methods for future assessments.

    You will be delivering the durability attribute of Traction battery assembly & sub-assemblies in line with requirements.
    You are required to have strong technical background and understanding of engineering & mathematical models. Use complex data to deliver results as expected.

    You must have a proven track record and experience of Power Unit Durability delivery / method development within an OEM / Tier 1 supplier.

    Support the continual development of tools and techniques which enhance capability, improve quality and robustness of Virtual models.
    Conduct the design analysis and development with utmost quality within agile framework.
    To support the design, development workstreams within the scope of the engineering development projects.

    Support prototype design freeze activities for customer applications, support customer production / prototype sites & liaise with their engineering team.

    Educated to a minimum of Degree level and fundamental knowledge of power unit systems and in particular Automotive Traction Battery (Regenerative Energy Storage System).


    • Minimum 5 years industrial work experience with the following CAE Analysis.
    • Experience in Conducting Vibration & Hi-Cycling Fatigue Analysis.
    • Experience in explicit dynamics, gasket sealing, stress and fatigue analysis (nCode/FEMFAT).
    • Previous experience of supporting engineering or analytical projectsExperience in proposing product modifications to improve design.
