About the Assistant Commercial Manager role:

Reporting to the Commercial Manager, the purpose of the Assistant Commercial Manager will be to work along the supply chain and contractors to deliver commercial activities within the Delivery teams while supporting the project's strategic goals by buildingvalue-added supply chains and sustainable commercial relationships.


The Assistant Commercial Manager will be supporting the Commercial Manager to successfully achieve the award of all contracts required to deliver the construction, testing, commissioning, and operation of the project in a fair manner, by the agreed dates.


Key Responsibilities:


Pre-contract - To be responsible for supporting the development of commercial works information, reviewing works information from other functions, and drafting contract documents.

Procurement - To be responsible for supporting the development of a contract management plan.

Post-contract

To be responsible for supporting the delivery of contract management of the contracts to maintain effective commercial control

To be responsible for supporting the administration of the obligations of the contract manager under the NEC3 contract

To be responsible for supporting contract payments assessment

To be responsible for supporting the review and analysis of supply chain monthly reports


Desired experience:


To be considered for this role will be able to demonstrate your skilled ability to administer contracts to deliver infrastructure / similar capital projects and programs.
