Description
The service ensures the systematic provision of evidence-based bio-psychosocial interventions to individuals. The service aims to offer recovery focused comprehensive packages of care appropriate to the needs of its service users.

Working within an experienced and highly motivated clinical team you will be part of a service engaged in ensuring the best possible practice in contemporary mental health care.


As a Clinical Support Assistant within the multidisciplinary team, you will be involved in supporting care co-ordinators to deliver appropriate treatment to service users including: Group work, Physical Health monitoring which includes ECG's and phlebotomy and evidence based psychological interventions.

You will be joining an Award winning team for the past two years.

  • Work collaboratively with colleagues and hospital inpatient settings and will develop good working relationships and networks with community recourses and providers both statutory and non statutory to maximize independence
  • Communicate interventions to service users and carers in an understanding manner based on a recovery and well being model which inspires hope to the service user
  • Establish and maintain therapeutic partnerships with the service users and carers in the delivery of delegated interventions
  • Contribute effectively to clinical discussions reporting concerns and changes to risk in a timely manner
  • Advocate on behalf of the service user within a range of services ensuring, as far as possible, that they reflect their needs and wishes. This would require the courage to voice concerns about practice and service delivery
  • To use deescalation skills when working in a potentially antagonistic, hostile and emotive clinical situation to ensure the safety of self, service users and others
  • Carry out physical investigations required for prescribed medication in line with N.I.C.E guidelines
