Social Worker (Best Interest Assessor)

Xyla Health & Social Services (Part of Acacium Group)

Remote with occasional travel required

12 month Fixed Term Contract, Full time (37.5 hours per week)

Monday to Friday - 9am-5pm (flexible working will be considered)

This is a role that requires work on specific project types as demand requires, adopting a flexible and adaptable approach.

You will support the project team in achieving key project milestones through the robust quality assurance of assessments in line with statutory legislation, best practice, and client requirements.

Every day you will

  • Quality assure project social workers completed assessments in line with relevant statutory legislation and code of practice.
  • Provide and receive feedback to/from Social Workers to develop excellent delivery standards.
  • Provide guidance to a team of Social Workers and support to develop practice with support from Senior Social Work Lead and Operational Manager
  • Participate in Project meetings as and when required.
  • Quality assure to the needs and stipulations of the client, taking into consideration relevant legislation, case law and best practice.

What will help you succeed in this role?

  • Being a qualified Social Worker and Best Interest Assessor
  • 5 years experience in a social work role
  • 2 years experience in a team manager role and best interests assessor role
  • Evidence of continued professional development in person centered and strengthsbased practice.

£43,680.00 per year
