The Face to Face Charity Fundraiser Role
This fulfilling role allows you to make a genuine impact on the lives of those in need while enhancing your skills and career prospects.
As the representative of our charity clients, you'll engage with the public, encouraging their support through regular monthly donations or lottery sign-ups.
Charity Link fundraisers are offered permanent contracts, ensuring a stable income with opportunities for additional earnings.
You'll be equipped with charity-branded attire, tools, and an electronic tablet for donor sign-ups.
Working hours vary based on venue locations, aiming for peak foot traffic times. For door-to-door fundraising, the preferred hours are 11am-7pm, with a focus on the crucial twilight hours of 5-7pm for optimal donor sign-ups.
This hybrid Door to Door / Private Site fundraising role requires versatility to work in both scenarios comfortably.
We value flexibility in our candidates, allowing for a mix of door-to-door weekday shifts and private site weekends, especially during the busy summer show season.
Door-to-door activities cover specific postcodes near your residence, while Private Site fundraising occurs at various locations such as shows, events, and retail outlets.
Your workdays will vary based on venue selection, emphasizing high footfall times to maximize donor engagement.
During the initial 12-week training phase, you'll receive extensive support including an induction week and mentorship.
Throughout this role, you'll acquire essential knowledge and skills, enhancing resilience and confidence for future challenges and increased earning potential.
